Building Foundations
Age Group 2 is designed to build a strong foundation for young swimmers as they prepare for the next level in their aquatic journey. This group focuses on developing essential swimming skills, improving technique, and increasing overall aerobic fitness. Swimmers will work on refining their strokes, turns, and starts while building strength and endurance through structured, fun, and challenging workouts.
Emphasizing discipline, consistency, and a strong work ethic, Age Group 2 helps athletes cultivate the habits necessary for success in Age Group 1 and beyond. The goal is to foster a love for the sport while providing the tools needed for continued growth and achievement.
Our two boys literally learned how to swim at Highlander Aquatics starting seven years ago and have continued in the program ever since. Several great Highlander coaches along the way have propelled them into competitive swimming, and they continue to improve every year. The program, coaches, and facilities are first rate.
