Constructed
in 1999, the Highlander Aquatic Facility is the finest in Central
Florida. Half of the facility was the actual pool used in
Atlanta for the 1996 Olympic Games. Atlanta hosted the water polo
matches in this pre-fab pool. The pool was then taken down and shipped
to Orlando. Weller Pools then sold the pool to Lake Highland. The
pool was installed along with new matching panels to extend the
facility to 50 meters.
